The staff was very friendly. check-in was very quick. My room had a canal view (i liked this). Breakfast cost €15 per person and i found it good.
The furniture had a very special style.

quiet street comfortable bed welcome gift
The location suited me well. It was on a quiet canal street. the staff readily assisted with my luggage both upon arrival and departure. i particularly appreciated the provided welcome gift. the comfortable bed with comfy pillows and the excellent shower were welcome after a long day.
the internet signal was occasionally weak in the room.

a few issues. marred the stay
small room street noise
The room felt smaller than expected. It really impacted my experience. i encountered a strange odor in the bathroom, quite off-putting. the noise from the street was more noticeable than i liked too. i hoped for a quieter, more spacious room considering the hotel's reputation.

clean room modern room friendly staff small room pipe noise inoperable window
My room was very clean and modern. It overlooked the canal, so that was nice. Staff helped me with directions. I liked having a bar where I could get drinks.
The room was small. I could hear noises from the pipes. I could not get the windows open.
